Swindon Sports Facilities - Golf, Gyms, Pools etc for Penhill

I've been here a few times, it's pretty decent. The staff are very nice. The last time I came it was empty, so it was even more fun as we got to take our time on each course. The price is decent. Its a small course but its really good.

OK good to spend a hour or so ... Much smaller then you think from the outside. Some TLC would be useful. A few lights not working and air con not working. Had a good time with friends.

A reasonably good gym with a wide range of equipment. Better at lunchtimes rather than after work when it can be packed. The AC and ventilation is a bit substandard but they're quick to resolve any issues usually.

Been going for a few weeks now and it is a very friendly environment, helpful staff and good range of equipment. Best to avoid at its peak times tho.

Excellent Gym super clean, all machines are new and great, massive selection , Lots of space its not crammed like most gyms. Pool and spa is super clean and well looked after , the staff are very nice, classes wow tons to choose from and frequent. overall best gym ive ever been too.

I used this club today as a visitor and quite frankly, I wished I lived closer! There has been a recent refurb and I can honestly say that these facilities are more modern, cleaner, more friendly, have a better lay out, more space, is less busy, more accessible and at a more reasonable price than many other places seemingly more exclusive. I spoke at length with a very kind and knowledgable member of staff who was not only a PT but a sports science graduate marketer with big aspirations for both the club and its members, and the wherewithal to go on to accomplish very big things in the future. If I lived closer I would’ve signed up there and then. Thank you all at DW and see you soon.

Good price , parking a bit tight sometimes, steam room needs some tlc,but gym ok.

Loved the Oasis as a kid, was a birthday treat living in Chippenham. Took my 6 year old today and although most of the decor is the same as it was in the 80s, we had a fantastic time. He thoroughly enjoyed himself going down the side winder with me and loved the wave machine. Staff also very friendly and helpful.

The swimming pool has had a good clean on the ceiling letting more light in and making it a much nicer place. Slides are good fun, however the staircase up to them can get grubby at times. The cafe seems to be popular however I have never liked it. The wave pool is always a blast!

It's my local centre where I go to do a health walk. They have lots of activities at the centre and all run smoothly.

Have used the Haydon Centre several times over the past few years for children's parties and I would highly recommend. Staff are always friendly and helpful, hall and rooms are plenty spacious as well as reasonably priced with the bouncy castle and play equipment included.

Excellent squash club. They have 3 well looked after courts, changing rooms & drink facilities. The club plays in several Wiltshire leagues, has a thriving in house squash league and offers coaching lessons and just turn up club nights. Every standard cateted for. Membership required, but email the club for a tour/free try out
