Nursery Schools

What's the difference between nursery and preschool?
Preschools usually work around a formal curriculum and trained teachers - making them a little more expensive! Nursery schools are usually a more relaxed learning environment and more flexible enrolment terms. They are also cheaper and vary greatly.

What age is a preschooler? Ages up to 4 is considered preschooler with toddlers are 1 - 3 year old bracket. Basically 4-year-old are not 'toddling' around any more and so are no longer toddlers!

What does preschool mean? A preschool, or nursery school, is a pre-primary school, or play school for early childhood education. Preschool is for children before they begin compulsory education at primary school.

Is Pre K considered preschool? Pre K schools are pre-kindergartens.

Kidz About - Children's Indoor Play & Party Centre

Spectrum (commonly known as Renault) Building, Mead Way, Swindon SN5 7UT, UK – 01793 524646

Kidz About is a pretty good soft play, it's large, with a lot to do for all ages. The toddler area is big, bigger than most soft plays, and they have an area just for toy cars and ride-on vehicles, which was a big hit with my 2 year old. There's also an inflatable area, bigger than just a bouncy castle, with obstacles to climb over. The older kids seemed to love this. As other reviewers have said, the food offering is basic, and the coffee and cake are nothing to write home about, but they do exist at the price you'd expect to pay when you're a captive audience. As an example, a slice of caramel shortbread was £2.50, on par with a coffee shop. The seating area is huge, and there are both tables and sofas, most seats give you a good view of the play areas so remote supervision is easier than I've seen it in most places. On the downside, parking is pretty limited, especially if it gets very busy, though it was fine when I went, at a quieter time. Cleanliness is good, and thankfully, they don't have one of those pits of scum and disease otherwise known as a ball pool, so I'm hoping that the child illness that usually follows soft play might be kept at bay this time! In summary, not the cheapest soft play in the world, but it by no means breaks the bank with excellent facilities. If it wanted my custom more often it would need to improve its coffee facilities and it's cake selection!

First time today as i won 2x tickets on a Facebook my kids enjoyed them self . Only payed £2 for two adults. Drinks are not to bad in Price. Place is clean and tidy. Staff at friendly. All round nice place.

The flight flew from RAF Brize Norton on 24th April 2024 with 500 cuddly giraffes on board to raise money and awareness for Great Ormond Street Hospital in memory of Louise Conway who died at just nine years old of leukaemia in 2013. Queen Ethelburga's Collegiate donated 50% of the production costs on behalf of the junior school, Chapter House, and our Forces community across campus - which is about 25% of our total student population.
