Needed a hotel for 1 night recently for work and this hotel was perfect. The hotel is really nice with rooms that looked brand new and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful and all the staff extremely friendly and helpful. It was hot weather so the air con was most welcome. All in all you couldn’t ask for more, will stay again if I’m area.
A nice weekend away, close to the centre of town so no need to use the car to go shopping unless you are going to the outlet which is a 5 minute drive. Room spotless, staff lovely, especially behind the bar, service was fantastic. Only thing I would comment on is breakfast which is £10 each. A bit steep I think when you are paying £70 a night. Food was good and hot and plentiful, think £7.50 would be a better price.

Nice hotel, full of architecture and history, some of the lush fittings have been lost to modern styles, but all clean and tidy. Bedroom's are of a decent size with modern en-suit's. All though a few design issues, no socket for electric toothbrush or shaver, mirror and hairdryer put in a stupid position as well the toilet paper holder. Plus lack of shelves in the bathroom. Bar area and reception are very clean and modern. Staff are very helpful and polite. Car parking is charged and isn't controlled by the hotel. Very handy for the train station and an easy walk into the shopping area.
Stayed here mid-week Wednesday. Right next to station and my meeting place, so very convenient. Room nice and clean. Staff friendly and professional. Had dinner elsewhere in town. Enjoyed cooked breakfast here, first class bacon and eggs and excellent coffee.

Externally looks like a brown box you would ignore, but step inside and you find a comfortable reception area manned with friendly helpful staff. The rooms are clean and tidy, beds are comfortable only thing missing is air conditioning, which with the current heat wave would have been very useful. If you you use the dining room the meals are well cooked and surprisingly good. Would recommend to anyone needing to stay in the Swindon area for the night.
We stayed here on our way to visit our daughter. It was clean, tidy, friendly efficient staff. The breakfast was brilliant with cooked and continental. We had both as it was all you could eat. We had evening meal in the restaurant and it was lovely. Would highly recommend the hotel. We will stay again anytime we are that way.

I really like this pub. Good place to go and drink good bear. Music is not loud so it's easy to speak with your friends. There is good food too. I can fully recommended this pub.
Love Weatherspoons, first time in this one, really nice pub, friendly staff, great service, great prices. We found it nice and clean, one of my fave Wetherspoons, would definitely reccomend.

Awesome place to take kids! I was blown away by their menu choice. With a family who have various allergies their menu choices literally blew me away. A different menu for lactose free, gluten free/etc. Just based on that we always go there for breakfast...the good food and prices are just an added bonus!
The Dockle Farmhouse is a very nice place with plenty of space and fine decor. It is well kept and has a relaxed atmosphere. There is no music so it easy to have a conversation here. The food is delicious and drinks are perfect.

Not classy, not terrible. Great if you want to watch sport. I did have one unfortunate experience with the food several months ago, but I am told they have since improved. Some good deals on beers at weekends.
Really friendly team, great food, good drink selection, and a buzzing atmosphere.

Nice friendly b&b .very clean . Have use of kitchen . but do have to share a shower . would stop here again, no probs
- Very comfortable, clean, bright, QUIET - Every room purposeful, brimming with thoughtful gestures (shower gel, new toothbrushes, spare towels everywhere etc) - Good wireless Internet connection - Sky TV available in room and in communal space - Made to feel a welcomed guest rather than a potential burden - Communal eating area was inviting and neat - Proprietor very friendly and personable - Good room rates - Great breakfast service My 3 night stay was really lovely. I enjoyed evening conversations with the owner who was easy to be around; breakfast was always a lovely experience with fellow guests - the whole place just encouraged and invited a civil nature. Breakfast was spot on, and freshly cooked to preference with no hassle (I miss those poached eggs!). The room was so very comfortable, and felt lovelier than some overpriced hotels! Decor was neutral and calming. Really felt welcome, and will gladly return there should I have another extended business trip in Swindon. Highly recommended, and flawless. Grateful to SW B&B for making my stay a pleasant one. :)

Except 4 all the other noisey buggers that don't care about any 1 but their selfs. Its a very nice place to av a room!!! X
Cheap enough. (Approx £35 for when we stayed) Room seemed clean but slight musty smell in air, had to keep window open (not sure if it was actually the room or my mate). Convieniant location: 2 min walk from Swindon Railway Station and about 5 min walk to main Shopping strip. Traffic noise was aggravating with cars speeding past in the early hours - no speed enforcement. The main long stay car park was opposite so convieniant parking. Very small and abnormal position of mirrors inside bathroom, unless your the size of a giant you will struggle to see into it! Adequate size TV with decent selection of channels. Tea and Coffee in rooms. Kitchen facilities but the Kitchen was far from equipped with one or two dirty pans, one of which was full of dirty drain water after being used as a leak-catcher under the sink. There was also an incident where a young baby was being taken by a weird man outside the premises at 1am. The hotel management should be more selective and attentive to the characters of guests they book into their rooms!
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
